Tompos Vendégház és Pince felt like a true home away from home, thanks to the warm welcome from our host, who greeted us with a bottle of wine and a shot of pálinka—a lovely touch to kick off our Christmas getaway. The shared lounge and terrace provided a cozy spot for breakfast, equipped with everything we needed to start our days well-fueled for exploration. While the furnishings might be a tad dated, they were all impeccably clean and functional, promising comfort during our stay. Located conveniently near charming restaurants and local wineries, this place was a gem of a find. I’d definitely recommend it to fellow beer enthusiasts and travelers alike, and I would happily return for another taste of this delightful experience.
